The Belgium Working Horses

The Belgium horse is just what it says - it is A Belgium. Comming from Belgium and known for being a working horse.  A draft breed these horses have unbelievable power and can pull many thousands of pounds. Early farmers loved them and to have a team of belgium horses to work the fields for you put way ahead of the rest. Where I am from in central Pennsylvania the amish still use this breed for doing the heavy work around the farm. They also use other breeds but the Belgium seems to be the prefered breed.

Belgium horses here in some parts of the state of pennsylvania and other states still to this day use Belguims for doing logging work. As big and powerful as a belgium horse is you would think that a bad temper to be one ther traits. But that is far from the truth. Belgium horses are known as gental giants and love to do what ever you ask of them…

Everytime I see these great creations doing what they do best - Pulling Tons of wieght with such ease I am so impressed at awe at what power I see.
